False or "Dummy" Transom
This design allows the full height casement opening to actually open, often required for Building Regulations document B1 fire escape regulations, whilst keeping the aesthetics correct by continuing the transom line across the full width of the window.
Dummy Vents or Equal Sight Lines
This design includes an additional frame, manufactured to the same section sizes as the actual opening casements, fixed in place without hinges or handles. This allows equal frame sight lines
